Over the past 6 weeks, we’ve been examining the last year through the lens of being tended by God and have been using reflection questions to identify God’s activity in our lives. Like the psalmists before us, we are inviting you to write your own songs and poetry that will collectively be used to create a Jacob’s Well community-wide art project later this year. We would like for you to compose a “six-word story” that speaks true to your life right now or your experiences over the last year. A six-word story is an entire story told in six words, the most famous being Ernest Hemingway’s “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”

We are also asking if you would take the opportunity to contribute to a community art project by taking your mask and writing your 6-Word Story on it, then placing it in a collection basket on Sundays at church. If you would like to get creative with yours, or if you need a mask, we will have cloth masks available for you as well as paint pens and other supplies to write with and decorate. Don’t miss this opportunity to have your story woven into the larger story of our church and of God this summer!
