All-Church email sent July 29, 2021
Dear Jacob’s Well Family,
As you are likely aware, we are once again at a crossroads related to the pandemic with the rise of Delta variant of Covid-19. According to the website covidactnow.org, the Kansas City metropolitan area is at very high risk for the continued growth and spread of the Coronavirus.
Throughout the pandemic, we have followed the recommendations of the CDC, our city’s leadership (Kansas City), and county health department (Jackson County). As a result, beginning this Sunday (8/1) we will follow their guidance and require mask wearing for both adults and children while inside the church building for both the vaccinated and unvaccinated.
Obviously we do not want to risk the spread of Covid-19 at Jacob’s Well (or beyond) and want to do our best to continue meeting in person for as long as possible. Thank you for your continued understanding, support, and participation.
