To help Argentine families adapt to the challenges of virtual learning this fall, Youthfront and The Hub @ Metropolitan Avenue UMC are launching learning pods. We will support small groups of middle school students and their elementary school siblings to safely gather for socialization, recreation, projects and tutoring while doing their remote learning.
Learning pods are small groups of around 10 students that meet twice a week for 2 hours after school. Each pod will be led by 2 adult volunteers who have completed background checks and child protection training. COVID-19 safety protocols will be strictly followed. Learning pods will begin the week of September 28th.
