Our local outreach is focused on the Argentine community in Kansas City and our global outreach is focused upon the construction and development of Asilong Christian High School in Pokot, Kenya.

Jacob’s Well has partnered with the Asilong community in West Pokot, Africa.
It started with a project to build ten water wells to a drought stricken region.
We are now working to continue to develop Asilong Christian High School

Our Harvester’s food distribution events happens on the second Wednesday of the month from 1PM-4:30PM, and we are always looking for volunteers to participate. These events are very important for many food vulnerable people in Argentine.
This is a drive-up service where pre-portioned food is placed in clients’ vehicles after it has been sorted into individual portions for each family.
Youthfront and The Hub @ Metropolitan Avenue UMC are launching an after-school club for students from the Argentine neighborhood. We will support a small group of students giving them an opportunity to safely gather for socialization, recreation, projects and tutoring after school on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3PM-5PM. Starting Sep 21, 2021.
Volunteers will be ask to work with the same student or small group of students each day you volunteer. Volunteers must commit to supervising one, 2 hr. session per week for one semester at their preferred day. For example, commit to coming each Tuesday or each Thursday for the semester.
