MOUNTAIN BIKING
Have you thought about trying out mountain biking, but weren’t sure how to get started? In this beginner friendly group you will learn some basic bike care and maintenance, essential trail riding skills, and get out into some of KC’s beautiful natural woodland areas!  Don’t yet have a mountain bike? We have a few spares to loan out.  Intermediate and advanced riders are welcome to join and encourage new riders, but we will be going at a slower pace so no one is left in the dust! We’ll meet at a different trail each week at 5:30pm for optional maintenance tips, and start to ride at 6pm.

Facilitators: Caleb Edgar & Dylan Aebersold
Dates: Monday evenings 6/5, 6/12, 6/19, 6/26
Time: 5:30-7:30pm

LOVING GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART & SOUL & MIND (FOR COLLEGE-AGE ADULTS)
This three-week series is for anyone of college age whether or not you are attending college. We’ll be considering what it looks like to develop a faith that includes a strong emphasis on our minds as we make the transition into adulthood. What might it look like to have an intellectual life that, like the rest of our lives, is turned toward God and His desires for us, our neighborhoods, our society, and our world?

In this institute we’ll work together to understand how having a Christian mind has so often been overlooked, and we’ll learn some practices for developing a Christian intellectual life. Along the way we’ll have conversations about how dedicating our minds to Christ prepares us to work with God as He mends the world. Sessions will consist of brief presentations interspersed with group discussions and optional readings between meetings.

Facilitator: Dr. Aaron Long
Dates: Wednesdays- June 7, 14, 28 (not meeting on June 21)
Time: 6:30-8pm
