The majority of communication for our 9th-12th grade students is done via email update, not via website. Email Dylan Aebersold dylana@jacobswellchurch.org to get added to our emailing list. Here are some basic details, to get you started.

WE MEET ON SUNDAY @ 5:30PM & TUESDAY @ 6:30PM
High school students grades 9th-12th (aka “The Commons”) meet on Sunday evenings from 5:30PM-7:00PM in the Commons.  A regular weekly rhythm of discipleship is provided for students to engage with God and with one another through intentional conversation, prayer, and scripture.  At Jacob’s Well, we value our students being a part of the spiritual life of the community as a whole so we highly encourage high schoolers to attend the 11:00AM worship gathering on Sunday mornings.

Youth ministries meet midweek on Tuesday evenings from 6:30PM-8:00PM in the Youth Room. Tuesday evenings offer a great place for students to connect, learn and grow with one another and with God.

VOLUNTEERING WITH YOUTH MINISTRY
Our leaders are crucial to the life of our youth ministry and in the lives of the students. We rely on committed adults who desire for middle and high schoolers at Jacob’s Well to be known and belong within our group and within God’s Story. The primary spaces for volunteering are Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings, and we ask that leaders commit to a full semester at a time. There are additional opportunities to serve and experience life with our crew on retreats and mentoring roles as well, if interested. To volunteer with Youth Ministry, please complete the online application.

SCHOLARSHIPS
9th-12th graders have the opportunity to participate in multiple events over the course of a year, as well as a Summer retreat known as “Verge.” We know that financing some of this stuff can be difficult. If you are in need of financial assistance, please complete the Scholarship Form and email it to Adam Cooper at adamc@jacobswellchurch.org.

YOUTH INFO & LIABILITY WAIVER
Remember, all students need a Youth Info & Liability Waiver on file to participate in events and retreats. Email completed waivers to Dylan Aebersold at dylana@jacobswellchurch.org.
