Since 2007, Jacob’s Well has been in relationship with the community of Asilong in West Pokot, Kenya. Over 15 years ago, an initiative that began to bring fresh water to a drought-stricken, resource-poor community has blossomed into mutually beneficial exploration of community transformation through water, education, and sustainable economic development. Join us to learn the story of this incredible relationship and to explore how the gospel, financial aid, and the history of “missions” in Africa continues to be a challenging, yet vital, engagement for the church in America and Africa as seen through the lens of the peoples of Asilong and Jacob’s Well.
