Youth Room – 11:00AM
Sunday mornings are time for our middle schoolers to worship, connect and learn together and with the entire community. We meet in our annex building (City Church) across the street from Jacob’s Well (1501 w 42nd St) on the main level. Because we value our students worshipping with the adult community, on the last Sunday of each month we pause our normal gathering, and join the main worship gathering across the street. Here’s what we’re discussing this semester…
**NOTE** – Our “Last Sunday” is being shifted to September 3 instead of August 27 for this month due to Labor Day weekend.
Fall Semester – What’s ups with all the genealogies in the Bible? Who even are half of these people? Why should we care about them and what do they have to do with Jesus? This semester, we’re going to trace back Jesus’s family tree and discuss its importance of these individuals both then and now.
November 5 – Brace yourselves. It’s time for a sex talk. Our culture is obsessed with sex and our world has a lot to say about it. But guess what? God has a lot to say about sex too – he invented it in the first place! Our hope is to create a space where teens are formed with a healthy and godly understanding of sex and sexuality.
