Jacob's Well isn't a church that simply distributes messages. It's an organic, biblical community where people work together to create and sustain a place in space and time where people can live in relationship with God and with one another.
So much wouldn't happen without the efforts and input from members of our community. Below are some of the ways you can get involved in the nuts and bolts of community life at Jacob's Well.
Help provide a safe, nurturing and age-appropriate environment for the children in our community during our Sunday worship gatherings. Service opportunities range from providing nursery and toddler care to leading classroom experiences for children aged 3 to 14. For information about how to get involved with Jacob's Well's Children's Ministry, contact Kelli Arrandale or Philip Lesniewski
Help visitors and guests feel welcome in our Sunday worship gatherings. Team members serve once every five weeks where they welcome guests, hand out the bulletins, and help people find seats when the sanctuary fills up. For information about how to get involved with the host team, contact Leslie Tenjack.
If you have musical interests and skills -- instrumental or vocal -- you would like to offer to help lead the Jacob's Well community in worship during our Sunday worship gatherings, in an impact group, or in children's ministry, contact Mike Crawford.
Each week folks are needed to set up microphones, run the sound board, and break down the equipment after the service. For information about how to get involved with the tech team, contact Rich Barr.
Each week folks are needed to build and run the MediaShout files that lead our community in singing during the Sunday worship gathering. For information about how to get involved with this team, contact Leslie Tenjack.
If you're a visual person and interested in creating spaces, consider joining the Ambience Team. Responsibilities include decorating the sanctuary with candles, fabric, etc. and handling the communion elements. If you'd like more information contact Leslie Tenjack.
Attention early birds! Help Sunday mornings feel a little more like home for members of our Sunday Team, many of whom get here at 7:30 am. Help set-up the hospitality station by making coffee, setting out breakfast foods, and cleaning up afterwards. If you're not into mornings, we periodically have special events that require extra hospitality help. For more information contact Leslie Tenjack.
