Our desire is to be shaped and formed into the image of Christ together as men. We hope to create a challenging and mutually supportive culture in which we encourage one another to embrace the roles of leadership and cultural influence to which we are called.
Current Men’s Formation and Fellowship Opportunities
Men’s Bible Study: The Gospel of John
Join us this fall at one of two times each week for a discussion-based men’s bible study over the Gospel of John in dialogue with excerpts from select commentaries. Weekly meetings will be built around small group discussions of the weekly texts and prayer, with an emphasis on building community among the participants. The format is arranged to make drop-ins very welcome, so please join us anytime.
These gatherings take place weekly year-round at the Jacob’s Well Prayer Chapel on Tuesday mornings from 6:30-7:30am (use the west entrance on 42nd Street). We will also support existing groups who would like to follow our syllabus, as well as the formation of a late afternoon/early evening option depending on interest. For more details or to get involved, see our online registration form.
February Men at the Pub Discussion: Tuesday February 20th
Join us for a discussion of themes and implications related to episodes from season 4 of the Netflix series Black Mirror. Contact Shayne Wessel at email@example.com for more info.
Institutes are adult spiritual formation courses offered several times each year. Watch for offerings specific to men in order to grow in life and faith together.
