Corpus
At Jacob's Well, we believe church happens whenever people join together to pursue authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another. Achieving a level of genuine relationship, where you know others and are known, can be difficult in our Sunday gatherings. Therefore we encourage and support gatherings for worship, formation and fellowship in smaller settings where social and personal relationships can form.
Corpus (formerly Impact Groups) are one of the primary ways we pursue spiritual formation and meaningful personal interaction. A typical Corpus meets regularly between October and May involving 8-15 people who gather for a few hours to share the basic Christian practices of engaging the scriptures, discussing aspects of our faith and for common prayer. Additionally, we gather on many other occasions for meals, to serve others, and to share life together.
Corpus groups gather in homes around the greater Kansas City area. Below are the groups meeting in our community. If you would like to participate, we have open enrollment in each of the groups listed with an asterisk. Please look through the table to find the group that best fits you.
